Five years ago, I walked into the cutest store in Savannah called Two Women and a Warehouse. I saw chalk paint for the first time and it happened to be Maison Blanche. I immediately fell in love with the color Mardi Gras and Vanille after seeing it on a piece in the store. I had to buy it, even tho I had no idea what I would paint. Fast forward 5 years and I upcycled an old dresser into a doggy jail for my two senior pups. I tried sample after sample of latex paint and couldn’t find a color I liked, then I remembered the chalk paint from Savannah. I’m so glad I did because the two colors together are absolutely stunning! Besides being gorgeous, they were so easy to use. I will forever be a customer of yours!

This hall mirror is over 100 years old. It came from my grandmother’s home in downtown Baltimore. Back in the 70s when antiquing became the rage, it was painted soldier blue, then I stripped it back to the beautiful oak and left it that way for years. I am getting ready to move to a beach home and thought I’d bring it to a new chapter with me. I used Vanille as the base coat and did dry brushing on some areas to make it look worn. I then used Champagne Shimmer Coat on it to give it highlights and add depth to the paint. I really love how it turned out.

Wow what a transformation! From drab to Fab! This display cabinet was refinished in Vanille and dark wax for a dramatic effect! Maison Blanche products are absolutely amazing!

Love Maison Blanche paint it's beautiful! The Vanille is my favorite! You can change up your decor with something different everyday when using white as your back drop! Take a look at this flea market find, an old wooden farm house style desk painted in Vanille. I change it up everyday with something different, one day I might be feeling springy so I put a vase of fresh flowers on it or maybe I want to sit back and feel I'm in a Tuscan Villa so I'll put an oil painting set on the wall behind it, which by the way I found at thrift store for 3 dollars. I just love every color Annie has come up with, each color brings you back to a certain place or time you love!
Thanks Annie
